Hidden Lantern is a small publisher and this is a small website. It collects as little about you as it is possible to collect while still knowing whether anyone is reading.
No cookies. No accounts. No mailing list. You can read every book on this site in full without signing up for anything, and nothing you do here is tied to an identity.
This site uses Cloudflare Web Analytics to count page views. It is privacy-first by design: it sets no cookies, does not fingerprint your browser or device, and does not build a profile of you or follow you to other websites. What it records is aggregate — which pages were viewed, roughly where in the world visits came from, and which site referred you. Cloudflare processes visitor IP addresses in order to produce those counts but does not retain them for this purpose.
There are no advertising trackers, no social media pixels, and no third-party analytics beyond the above.
Purchases do not happen on this site. The buy links send you to Amazon or to Payhip, and everything to do with payment, delivery and customer data is handled there under their own privacy policies. Hidden Lantern never sees or stores your payment details or your address.
Typefaces are served by Google Fonts, which means your browser requests font files from Google's servers and Google receives your IP address as part of that request. The Payhip checkout script loads on book pages so that the buy button works.
Because no personal data is collected or stored by Hidden Lantern, there is nothing held here to access, correct, export or delete. If you have a question about any of this, write to [email protected].
